You have likely heard of Steve and Annette Economides, otherwise fondly referred to as America’s Cheapest Family.  The Economides raised five children while living on Steve’s modest income alone, and they did it without debt (save for a mortgage that they paid off within 11 years).

The Economides have written three books:

  • America’s Cheapest Family Gets You Right on the Money
  • Cut Your Grocery Bill in Half
  • The Money Smart Family System: Teaching Financial Independence to Children of Every Age

They also have a website and blog, Money Smart Family.

Steve and Annette Economides are passionate about teaching people to live within their means and find financial security, and they’re reaching out to the American public to spread that message any way they can.

Recently, they added a new tool to their arsenal of spreading hope that financial security is possible:  The Financial Hope Conference.

When Is The Financial Hope Conference

cheapest-family1The 2nd annual Financial Hope Conference will take place on January 24th, 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona.  Tickets are a very reasonable $25 per family.  The conference will run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  There will be five sessions from different presenters.

What Will The Financial Hope Conference Cover?

The five sessions at The Financial Hope Conference will teach you how to:

  • Cut your grocery bill in half (without extreme couponing)
  • Make the most at your next garage sale (and how to make money by going to them)
  • Live debt free
  • Maximize retirement income by using social security to your advantage, and
  • Raise confident, financially independent kids

Who Are The Presenters?

All of the presenters are Christians who are interested in presenting God’s principles and making them available for the general public through this conference.

Besides the Economides, the three other presenters are Lynda Hammond, Debra Caldwell, and Bob Blayter.  There is a natural synergy between the four speakers.  They all have dynamic personalities and a lot of energy and enjoyment for what they do.  Simply put, they seek to give conference goers hope and to make them excited about changing their finances.

Lynda Hammond used to be a news anchor and her husband was a news producer.  They each lost their jobs within a short period, and they survived on garage sales.  Lynda, who runs the website Garage Sale Gal, seeks to teach attendees how to make money from having a successful garage sale AND from going to garage sales.

Debra Caldwell is a financial advisor and founder of Caldwell Financial, Inc.  “Debra specializes in comprehensive financial planning, professional money management, retirement income planning, estate planning, and risk management” (Money Smart Family).

Bob Blayter is the mastermind behind the conference.  He is a pastor and creator of Financially Free Seminars.

Together, the five presenters create a team to help you manage your money in all aspects of your life—saving, getting out of debt, making money, and preparing for the future.   As Bob Blayter is fond of saving, “The Economides help you save money, Lynda helps you make money, Debra shows you how to prepare your money to get the most out of social security, and Bob helps you learn how to free your money.”

This conference will be recorded, and there are plans to grow the conference in the next few years.  The presenters hope that they may be able to take this conference around various locations in Arizona, especially to larger churches in the area with 700 to 1000 attendees.

If you’re looking to attend a conference of like-minded individuals trying to get a better handle on their finances, The Financial Hope Conference is for you.

Are you interested in attending the Financial Hope Conference?  If so, which session most interests you?
