This past weekend we had the honor of being there with some good friends as they welcomed their new son into the world.

My wife was in the delivery room with them as their little boy was born, and she seems to have been changed by the experience. I guess it’s hard to see one of God’s small miracles – like the miracle of birth, and not be changed by it.

While we were at the hospital we took lots of pictures and some video (gotta find a use for that new expensive camera and video editing software of mine!), and earlier this week I put together a short video showing our friend’s son’s first day of life. I thought I’d share that here.
