Dave Ramsey has plenty to say about the current crisis, and what should be done about it. He has even put out a 3 step plan that he believes will resolve the crisis without having the taxpayers bailout financial companies to the tune of $700 billion dollars. You can download his plan here:

I believe Ramsey refers to an idea that isn’t His alone and he has said so. None the less, I believe an alternative to putting my children and grand children in more debt/taxes is a great idea. I am not sure that the $700 million dollar buyout/rescue would have actually done anything positive. The best answers are sometimes a mix of two or three different plans.
