It’s been a busy week this week – I’ve submitted to several Carnivals for the first time in a while. I got into several of them, and even got an editor’s pick! So – on with the show!
Money Hacks Carnival #19 – Personal Finance Destinations
Great carnival this week that highlights some of the internet’s best personal finance destinations. I’m proud to have been picked as an editor’s choice for the carnival, for my article Save like you’re paying off a high interest debt. If you haven’t read the article – check it out now! Some of my other favorite articles from the carnival include:
- Frugal Tips: How To Make 10 Ordinary Things Last Longer posted at The Digerati Life.
- On Loaning Friends Money (or, I’d rather give) posted at This Writer’s Wallet.
- How to Save Money on Gas posted at Cash Money Life.
- Top Ten Tips – If Your Wallet Is Stolen posted at Tip Diva
As mentioned the carnival revolved around “Personal Finance Destinations”, websites that are the go to destinations for personal finance on the web. Those websites include:
- PopTopRanks.com Personal Finance: Great site that ranks the personal finance (and other) websites based on their subscriber numbers. I was lucky enough to do some logo work for PopTopRanks – so thanks guys for using my logo design service!
- Personal Finance Buzz: Great digg-like site for personal finance articles. This site is a great resource for finding some of the best personal finance writing on the web today.
- Alltop Personal Finance: great listing of personal finance websites.
- MSN Smart Spending: One of the big blogs that everyone hopes will link to them.
- Get Rich Slowly Forums: Forums at one of the biggies in personal finance. Great place to ask for feedback.
Festival of Frugality: Bare Necessities Edition
Great carnival at Squawkfox.com that includes some hilarious pictures of underwear and fruit. Worth the trip just for the pictures! My article Saving at the movies this summer was included in the shopping and entertainment category. Some other favorites this week include:
- Money Ning posted how to Setup Google Alerts to Get Coupons and Deals
- Frugal Dad struts his frugal stuff in 75 Tips to Survive a Down Economy.
- GBlogger at Can I Get Rich on a Salary declares The PLASTIC Made Me Do It!
