I’ve written about ING Direct here on Bible Money Matters before because I’m big on their no fee accounts that give you the flexibility to set up savings goals, earn some decent interest and because they know how to treat their customers right.

ING has decided that this year they’re going to get in on all the Black Friday hoopla – and come up with some discounts for their customers.  Here are some of the things you can expect, along with where to find the deals tomorrow.

Americans plan to spend less on gifts this holiday season. To help holiday savers stock up on savings this year, ING DIRECT will announce on Friday (November 20) that it will offer four Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials. No long lines or 4am wake up calls needed for these Saver deals.

  1. ING DIRECT will offer $683 off Easy Orange and Orange Mortgage closing costs for anyone who applies on Black Friday. Why $683? That’s what the average American will spend on gifts this holiday season, according to the National Retail Federation.
  2. On Cyber Monday, November 30, ING DIRECT’s brokerage, ShareBuilder, will offer a 20 percent rebate on trades to help investors save money while they grow their investments.
  3. The Orange CD special will be announced here www.ingdirect.com/BlackFriday on Black Friday.
  4. The Electric Orange checking account special will be announced here www.ingdirect.com/BlackFriday on Black Friday.

So there you have it, special deals on mortgages, ShareBuilder account incentives, and deals on their CDs and checking accounts. If you’re looking to open one of those types of accounts, now may be the time! If you don’t want an account with ING, feel free to check out some other banks that have great rates right now.

That’s cool! Now do I really need to open another checking account so I can get the $121 in free money? Decisions, decisions! Is there any harm in having several checking accounts. We already have 2.

You can always open one, keep it open for the required amount of time, and then close it out! :)

ING has extended the Black Friday deals but for how long I don’t know. I opened the Electric Orange Checking Account this afternoon.
