Cool Weather, Storm Clouds And A Post Roundup

It’s been an interesting week here in Minnesota – we’ve had some strange July weather with cooler than normal temperatures, and over the last day or so we’ve had extremely overcast skies (see the photo I took last night above), but no rain.  Our area has been pretty dry this year, and we could really use some of that rain.  While we were at a friend’s cabin a couple weeks ago the shoreline was back about 20-30 feet from where it normally is.  Water levels are extremely low!

This past week we welcomed a new contributor to the site, Craig Ford.  Craig was born and raised in the South Pacific nation of Papua New Guinea (PNG), and is currently working there as a Christian missionary.  His first post earlier this week, “Ten Ways To Improve Financial Intimacy In Marriage“, was a great one. I know it brought up some great points that really made me stop and think about my own marriage.
