Personal Finance Bible Verse Of The Day: Never Satisfied With His Income

by Peter Anderson · 0 comments

Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless. Ecclesiastes 5:10

Living in our culture it’s hard not to focus on material things. We’re blasted with constant commercials and advertisements trumpeting how happiness is only a BMW away.

We may have money, but we want more. We may have a nice house, but we want a bigger one. We have a car that gets us from point A to point B, but we want the luxury model. No matter how much we have, we have a hard time realizing that money and possessions can’t buy happiness. Yes, money can buy a fleeting moment of fun, but it can’t give us true peace and true happiness. That comes only from knowing Christ Jesus as our savior.

Today I want to try and remember that I have been given so much, and that true contentment comes through Him.
