Personal Finance Bible Verse Of The Day: Feeling Weary And Burdened?

by Peter Anderson · 3 comments · Print Print · Email Email

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

The last few weeks have been some tough ones for our economy, and for a lot of people around the country. It can be easy to get discouraged, and to give up hope when your retirement savings are dwindling, and your job is on the chopping block.

We need to remember that the problems of this world  really are small, and that we are redeemed in Christ, and no matter what comes our way, he’ll be there by our side.   Jesus will never give us more than we can handle. His yoke is easy, and his burden light. We need to bring our troubles to him, and he will give us rest.

Amen – we just need to focus on how BIG God really is and the problems will start looking really insignificant!

I realize today that the lesson I was to learn I ignored and am now paying the price.

But I trust in the Lord to not only provide money but the ideas I need to replace what I am about to lose.

When one door shuts a better door opens,I believe that and am praying for a Christmas miracle that another better door will open soon.
