Brief bills would mean they wouldn’t be able to stuff the bills full of pork. that would NEVER happen! (unfortunately)

there should be a page limit for bills congress is allowed to pass. Seriously how many pages is the constitution? if the founding documents of this country can be this brief any subsequent laws should be as brief... yes I live in a fantasy world, I know. Matts last blog post..Grapes! [1]

that’s right – funny, but not a ha ha kinda funny. Let’s add more things to the bill – and then it’ll be a “better” bill! I like the idea of less is more myself.

The funny part is that the bill has yet to change at all, right? It has only grown in scope and size by adding more mostly inconsequential stuff. I hope that it doesn’t sway people, although I suspect it will.

I wrote in to my rep yesterday against the bailout.
