Yikes. Thank you for bringing these items to light. It’s nice to know that lobbying is alive and strong and all it takes are campaign contributions to ensure that such a bill is passed. *rolls eyes*

Yet another outrage on top of so many — one that seems to be an entrenched part of both political parties.

I am very sad that people are so blind as to what is happening and how they should morally and ethically act in such cases.

My only comment is I am sure glad that God’s economy has not reflection of the American or World economy.

Just continue to be a faithful steward and God will protect you even through these horrifying times…

My thoughts on this involve a lot of language that probably wouldn’t be appropriate for Bible Money Matters. Just another product of our “let’s not take personal responsibility for anything” society. Meanwhile, while big money gets 700 billion in help (from MY tax dollars, no less), my DH’s pizza franchise sinks into oblivion and NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE ABOUT THAT!

Sorry to rant. I’m not sure what the future holds for this country, but I’m not optimistic that this is bailout is going to help anyone in the long run.

Oh my goodness. I have a pretty bad feeling about this. I’m trying to get the details of this soon-to-be law, but I’m having a hard time. It seems fairly complicated!

Even if this does help things for the short-term, I think in the long run, we’ll be no better off. In fact, we could be in the same boat 15 years from now.
