Personal Finance Bible Verse of the Day: Worry no more
by Peter on August 10, 2008

Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat ‘ or ‘What will we drink ‘ or ‘What will we wear for clothing ‘ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31-32
We’re living in tough times right now, with people losing their jobs, prices for everything going through the roof, and the economy teetering on the brink of ruin. But why should we worry? God will provide for us when we put our faith in him. Though times may get tough, he will provide, for he “knows that we need all these things”.
A bit of encouragement for this Sunday morning.

Thanks for sharing this. These are my favorite Bible verses. I particularly like the preceding verses where Jesus describes how God takes care of the birds in the air and the lilies of the field. It’s such a poetic section and really demonstrates how God is in control and that we can make it through any tough situation. Thanks again.
Thanks, I needed that verse this morning. God is good!
