Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
It is so easy for us to forget where our priorities lie in this life. We get tied up in the day to day minutia of our jobs, relationships and personal problems, and we forget to do the most important thing – to just delight ourselves in the Lord, and allow him to work in our lives.
When we focus our energies on loving and worshipping him, other things have a way of just falling into place, or becoming less important.
My prayer for the week is that I can let all the other things just fall away, and be able to delight in the Lord, for he is good!
