Save Money: Use The Library

by Peter Anderson · 0 comments

A few days ago in my “5 Things I Can’t Do Without” post I talked about how one of the things I couldn’t do without was my library card. I didn’t go into much detail about why that is, but today over at Money Blue Book, They talk in depth about where you can find savings at your public library.

Despite what some people may think, many people still visit public libraries – such as myself. Although the societal trend seems to be shifting towards an entirely digital world where the internet dominates the information landscape, traditional brick and mortar library branches still serve their useful purpose.

Some of the free services they tout include free internet access, free books, free movies and books on CD. They list a bunch of others as well. Go check it out for some great ideas on ways to save at your local library!
