Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth. Proverbs 10:4
I think the meaning of this verse is pretty clear. Work hard and you’ll prosper. Be lazy and you’ll end up poor. The rest of proverbs 10 has a lot of good stuff in it as well, talking about how you need to save, and how the righteous will be provided for. Check out the rest of it at the link above.
